Your Frequency is .... What You Frequently See
What you focus on is what you get. Your emotions broadcast a frequency - and you attract people and experiences that vibrate that same frequency.
We experience the world through emotions. Do you experience a wide range of emotions ... or a narrow select few? If you have not already created your list of emotions... do this exercise first. Stocktake My Emotions.
If you have your list... jump in to the exercises below!
EXERCISES
The following exercises will develop your awareness of emotions. Check in daily to sensations in your body and keep a journal of what emotions you are experiencing.
As you improve your skills you will be able to distinguish between emotions that are closer together e.g. joy, happiness, contentment.
Work through a variety of emotions. Start with ones that are far apart such as anger and excitement. As you become more attuned to these emotions, continue with emotions closer together.
Note: Take care choosing negative emotions - these can be quite strong.
Work with a partner and go through these questions:
Remember a time when you felt __(choose emotion) .
Ask the following questions of your partner and tell them to describe the first thing that comes to mind. Ask the questions in quick succession so their left brain does not start auditing their answers.
Where is the emotion in your body?
Is it in your body, around your body?
Is it big or small?
What shape is it?
What are the edges like: spikey, smooth, wavey etc?
What colour is it?
Is it moving or still?
Is it dense or light?
Once you have completed an emotion - ask them to 'clear the screen or the canvas of what they were viewing'.
Note: Make sure you end on a positive emotion - you don't want to bring forward negative emotions and leave them on your canvas for the day.
Debrief
Once you have done a few - compare them. You might find some emotions have similar attributes while some are diametrically opposed.
Homework
Decide which ones you want to experience more of and notice them more. Keep a journal.
Play with more emotions. There a many lists of emotions available.... and here is one of our favourites - Navigating Emotions with the Emotion and Feeling wheel. The more emotions you can identify and feel in your body, the more you can experience.
ENJOY!

Love it! That's so true. Sometimes when I do Qi Gong I get random emotions or memories popping up.
